Ret. Colonel Richard Wendell Streif is to be laid to his final rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC)
on 18 February, 2009 with services at the Old Chapel on Ft Myer at approximately 1300 hours, followed by graveside services immediately following.
18 Feb 09 Mission Plan

Stage: 1140 hrs Iwo Jima Memorial (Marine Corps War Memorial)
Brief: 1150 hrs
Transit: 1200 hrs to Old Chapel
Honors: 1215 hrs Flag Line at Old Chapel
Honors: 1330 hrs Graveside ANC (time approx.)
Ride Captain: TBA (in the interim contact the undersigned)
Iron Horses preferred, cages welcome as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for transit (furl upon ANC parking).
Large hand-held flags desired for Honor Flag Line.
Military mandated ID / gear ARE required for this mission.
(Photo ID, long pants, long sleeves, full finger gloves,
face shield / goggles / windshield, reflective vest / belt at night).
Remember we are here to honor the Hero and family, friends, and comrades-in-arms, and to stand tall, silent and proud. If you cannot join us, please set aside a moment of silence at the appointed hour, to reflect on their sacrifice.

This is a Confirmed ANC Mission - Date To be Determined
Ret. Colonel Richard Wendell Streiff is to be laid to his final rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) at a date not yet finalized. PGR stood at services for Col Streiff in his home state of TN, and we will do so again at ANC - standing tall, silent and proud for this Hero of past wars.
