Sgt. Brandon Augustus is to be laid to his final rest on the hallowed
grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) on 30 January, 2009 at
approximately 1300 hours with services at the Old Chapel on Ft Myer.  PGR
has been invited and we will be there - standing tall, silent and proud for
this American Hero and his family, friends and comrades at arms.

PGR will render honors at the Funeral Home prior to providing a mounted
escort for this Hero from the Funeral Home to the Old Chapel.  We will mount
an Honor Flag Line at the Chapel, and will then stand in honor at graveside
in ANC.

30 JAN Mission Plan:
===============

Stage:     1130 hrs    Murphy's Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington,
Va
Brief:       1140 hrs
Honors:   1145 hrs    At funeral home, prior to escort
Escort:    1200 hrs    FH to Memorial Chapel
Honors:   1215 hrs    Flag Line at Old Chapel
Honors:   1330 hrs    Graveside ANC (time approx.)

Iron Horses preferred, cages welcome as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for the Escort (furl upon ANC parking).
Large hand-held flags desired for Honor Flag Line.
Military mandated ID / gear ARE required for this mission.
    (Photo ID, long pants, long sleeves, full finger gloves, face shield or
goggles or windshield).

Remember we are here to honor the Hero and  family, friends, and
comrades-in-arms, and to stand tall, silent and proud.  If you cannot join
us, please set aside a moment of silence at the appointed hour, to reflect
on their sacrifice.

All the bases have been touched, and PGR has been invited to attend all the
services for the American hero.

There are tentative plans for services in LA, see the above link for those
mission plans as they develop.

Sgt Brandon Augustus  was found dead in his quarters last week in Germany,
while home on R&R leave, and the cause is being investigated. Brandon,
originally from Baton Rouge, LA, was a medic assigned to C Company, 47th
Forward Support Battalion, 1st Armored division, deployed in Iraq.  His wife
and 4 year old son were with him in Germany.

PGR has been invited by the spouse to attend services for this American Hero
in his home state of Louisiana and also his burial at Arlington National
Cemetery.  Once details are finalized, check back here for mission plans for
