THIS IS A CONFIRMED ANC MISSION!
=============================

Staff Sgt. Nekl B. Allen, 29, of Rochester N.Y. died Sept. 12 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised-explosive device and small arms fire.  He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.

PGR stood in honor of this American Hero in home town services in Carthage, NY and Spencerport, NY.

We will stand again - strong, silent, and proud - as SSG Allen is laid to his final rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) on 08 October, 2009 at approximately 0900 hours with services at the Memorial chapel on Ft Myer. Those services will be preceded by a visitation at Murphy's Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA on  07 October from 1800-2000 hours.

PGR will mount an honor flag line for the visitation on 07 OCT, and then on 08 OCT we will: render honors prior to transport; provide a mounted escort of the Hero from the funeral home to the Chapel; mount an honor flag line at the Chapel; and then will follow the Hero's procession to ANC graveside and again render honors.
