Thank you so very much for all you do! Being the wife a soldier, it means the world to me that people care so deeply. We live in Indiana and have a group (that continues to grow) that will be attending. I'll send the final count later today. We'll all be there with our flags. It's the least we can do to honor the McCaulley family. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with them.

Chris, Peg and I will be riding from the Washington PA Area. I am sorry about not getting here earlier but I had a mean three days of work and didn't have the time to jump online. Preliminary plans are to meet at Home Depot at the Washington Mall and leaving from there. I will post more tonight such as the route we will be taking and if I can arrange to meet with other groups riding up.
Don so far we are three strong from our corner of PA, but I am sure that will change soon.

We will be there at 6:45 AM Home Depot parking lot of the Washington Mall and leaving promptly at 7:00. It is the Murtland Ave Exit 19 South. If anyone wants to meet up along the way we will be travelling I 70 to New Stanton where it becomes 119 from there through Greensburg to 22 and from there into Indiana. I will post approximate times where we will be after I get home and can get to my itinerary but safe to say that we will be going past 84 PA by 7:10, 43 by 7:20ish and beyond.
Shoot me over an email at CaptKenny@spamcop.net and I will make sure that we watch out for you.
Rain or shine I will be riding. I have those chemical hand and feet warmers for those that need them.

Upon arriving safely home at the conclusion of this mission, I feel I must post here to offer my sincere 'thank you' to Don for the extremely professional way he handled a very large group of PGR members who attended this funeral. This was, I'm sure, a very difficult mission to co-ordinate and with well over 100 bikes in attendance (estimation), everything went off very smoothly. The professionalism displayed by all PGR members did not go unnoticed, as evidenced by the numerous funeral attendees that expressed their deep gratitude to most all of us. I'm sure this difficult task was made easier with the help of Frank. My hat is off to both of you for a job well done. Thank you!
Rest in eternal peace Sgt McCaulley. |
