SPC Bittiker, thank you for your service to this nation.   We mourn your loss along side your family.  Just as you stood for us; so shall we stand for you.

I regret that I will be unable to attend, but I will be there in spirit.

It is with the utmost respect that I offer my condolences to the family of a true American Hero. Robert, may you rest in the knowledge that your duty was well done and you have the gratitude of an entire nation for your sacrifice and your service. I know that you will now be in the company of your fellow veterans who have gone before you and who will welcome you at the Gates upon your arrival. Stand down now and know that we will carry on your legacy of freedom for all our citizens. To your family and friends I ask that God comfort them now in their time of despair and remain with them as they adjust to their loss.

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
