What we have right now is that the times posted for the mission are a go as stated. We do not know at this time if our Hero will be here or not for us to escort. Matthew is still on his way home. I or Slider Bob could get a call at any time that would put us in motion to make the escort mission from the funeral home to the church with the 6 bikes only. The rest of us will go directly to the church for set up. I or Slider Bob will let all know as soon as we know something.
As it is, please plan on meeting at the BJ's parking lot on the corner of 235 and route 4 as stated in the Itinerary, also because of where we are parking it will be very important for you all to Bring a kickstand puck, plate, or whatever Reason is we will be parking on gravel and we dont want your ride to fall over.

In the Itinerary I wrote that we only needed 6 riders for this mission. What I was talking about was the escort mission from the funeral home to the church. We need every rider we can get for the flag detail. Please show up if you can for both missions, 1st mission on Wed and the second on Thursday.
Any questions, please e-mail me. keith@md.metrocast.net

Rest in peace, CPL Wallace. I always hate to see my fellow brothers and sisters in arms fall in battle. You made all of us proud.

I may be able to participate in the third part of the mission, Wed and Thu I'll be stuck at work but I should have enough time to call off for the funeral procession. I will keep you updated.

My prayers and best wishes for the family. Having lived in Lexington Park, and gone to Great Mills, I feel a special sadness knowing that one of our own is gone. I too was 22 years old, in the military, and in combat, some 33 years ago. I am so proud to know that young men today hold to the same morales and obligations that we did so long ago. Cpl Wallace is a hero to me, someone and old airmen can look up to. God Bless you Cpl. Wallace, your family, friends, and God Bless America.

I'm not sure whether we will be escorting Cpl. Matthew P. Wallace from Dover to Maryland but if in fact we are, I'll send you an e-mail as I see this is your first post. Normally we don't contact members personally, but I'd be honored to ride with you on this mission. Welcome to our family.

Mienzigo,

We do not have any information on the ride from Dover yet.  Please keep an eye out here, because many of us want to support Cpl. Wallace from Dover as well as at the church.  It will be a quick response, and I'm sure that an e-mail will be sent out as soon as we know where he is.

North Central Maryland!

We have challenges on this mission. First off, we want to support Keith tomorrow, and we are also waiting to see if there is a Dover mission as well. At this point, we have to support Keith with what is posted here.

The staging point for North Central Maryland is the Royal Farms at the bottom of Route 30 and Route 140. Departure time is 0900 tomorrow morning. It is a 115 mile run to the church, and will take approximately 3 hours to get there. Departure from the Royal Farms is 0900 sharp.

If we have a Dover segment, then I will address that in an update tomorrow morning. But for now, this is the plan.

Updates? What's happening? Web site has been acting funny - is this up to date?

Have not been feeling well and I would be driving down by myself - IF I am feeling up to it - need to know for sure if it's on.

We will need to be in place by noon so you guys ride careful,  the rest of us will be at the church already.  We are kickstands up at 11:45 from BJ's.  We have a high level of confidence that our hero will be here and we have already put together a escort of 6 bikes from the funeral home to the church.  They are to arrive around 12:15 or so.

Be careful and See you when you all get here.
