I'm hoping recon for this mission will be done today. At that point, I'll have the info straight. When the CAO said Su(o?)nrise, I never thought to ask for the correct spelling of the name.

Thanks,
Joe

My thought go out to the family of Sgt. Joseph Perry, a true American Hero.

Will be honored to ride for this fallen soldier this coming week-end.

Gigs,

You mentioned earlier that the family had hoped to have the funeral
before Saturday.

Please confirm the date.

Will we be escorting after the funeral?

The Church is SONRise. THere is a C-Store where Gigs listed, and the church is about half a block away. It is a memorial service only. We will probably ride in and form up on either side of the main entrance to the Church and await the family to pay our respects. We will probably remain until after the service when the family exits, and then disperse. I will provide more details the morning of the event.

Jer,
We'll be present for the service only. The one I mentioned possibly taking place before Saturday is in Hemet. I hope to get update on that tonight.

Thanks,
Joe

Everyone comming down the 15 So or 10/210 E we can meet on the 15 So at the Jurpia exit (the first exit after the 10/15 intersection). There is an ARCO just west of the 15. If U need to gas up or get coffee etc. U can do so. We may see traffic between the 78 and the 52 so I suggest we KSU from the ARCO at 0600.

For all planing on meeting at the 15 and Jurpia for the trip down. After consulting my traffic expert I think that a 0630 vise 0600 KSU will give us plenty of time to get to the meet on time. Please call me 909 208 7703 if U intend to meet there.

Angel / Winger will see U there.

I will get there (Carls) at 0600 for coffee and Bfast.

I'm leaving Lancaster at 0500 but I don't know for sure if I'll get there before you guys leave so don't wait for me. It should take about an hour and a half to get to where you're meeting but I've been stuck on 138 before. FYI, according to the map the street is spelled Jurupa, and the Carl's Jr. is at 4555 Jurupa St, Ontario, CA 91761.

Thanks Tex,
I don't know how many strong we will be tomorrow, but the C-Store we are meeting at is not a huge lot, so be flexible.

I just got off the phone with the CAO. The family will be arriving around 9:00 at the church tomorrow. I'd like to have anyone that's available meet at the original meet point at 8888 N. Magnolia Ave, Santee, Ca 92701 at 8:30. I realize that this is last minute, so we'll bring in a second group at the original posted times. KSU for the second group will be at 9:30. Tom will be leading the first group in, & I'll have Craig or myself ride in with the second group.

Thanks,
Joe

I drove by the church today. The Church is a short block or two from 7-11.
If you take I-8 to I-67, exit @ Prospect . I believe you turn left on Prospect. Right on Magnolia.
(There is a pirate ship in the parking lot.) 7-11 is on Woodside and Magnolia. There is a donut shop next to the 7-11.
Jim & I will see you tomorrow morning.

Hey Craig,

Jerry and I will be heading down straight to meet up with Tom (TKool) by 0830, so we can be there for the family by 0900. I'll have the usual cooler and flags in the truck.

I'm riding in from Oceanside .Anybody else leaving from around here for this mission ? I'd like to hook up with one or two or a group of riders from wherever for the ride down to Santee.I'll even sit on the side of the 15 south to wait for the folks from up north if they know approx what time they will pass the Gopher Canyon road exit.
Thanks.
