Posted By FLBATFISH on 19 Oct 2006 3:49 PM For all planing on meeting at the 15 and Jurpia for the trip down. After consulting my traffic expert I think that a 0630 vise 0600 KSU will give us plenty of time to get to the meet on time. Please call me 909 208 7703 if U intend to meet there.
Angel / Winger will see U there.
I will get there (Carls) at 0600 for coffee and Bfast. Probably too late to call you now, but I intend to be there. If I miss you, I'll see you at the 7-11 in Santee.

Posted By BIKEROMA on 20 Oct 2006 8:39 PM We are riding from the Adams St. on-ramp in Riverside (91) anyone near here we can link with? Since we'll be leaving I-15 & Jurupa at 6:30, I would think that if you can arrange to be in the Corona area on the 15sb around the Magnolia or Ontario ramps at around 6:40 and ride slowly, we should catch up with you.... we'll be departing from about 10 miles north of the 15/91 interchange, so time appropriately. Alternatively, you could stage at the top of the SB Magnolia onramp and keep an eye out for us.
We could possibly pull off at one of the ramps, but I don't want to speak for the RC and schedule a stop for him.

Kudos to Craig and Tom, (Batfish and TCool) for RC'ing todays mission.
It was confusing at times but you managed to pull it all together. Over 300 dedicated patriots stood with flags flying honoring our young fallen hero Sgt. Perry. The parking lot was filled with PGR and local clubs motorcycles. At last count it was over 120. It was great to see the support of the Christian Riders, and many clubs from the community continue to arrive as we lined the driveway with flags flying. I am sure Angel will share his many photos he took of todays mission.
We had extensive press coverage. This is very special as we let our communities know of our honorable expression of gratitude to the family and friends of our hero Sgt. Perry.
I was privilaged to meet a young soldier of 76 who served in Korea. We stood shoulder to shoulder proudly furling our flags to the wind as a sign of respect for all those that have given their sacred lives to protect our freedoms at home.
We will never forget...........

The support that was shown today by the numerous motorcycle clubs, christian riding organizations, citizens of Santee and outlying communities was truly awe-inspiring! I was deeply moved and proud to have been a part of a process that helped the friends and family of Sgt. Joseph W. Perry. The family were very appreciative of the honoring of their son by everyone on the line. The number of people standing along the sidewalk leading to the church was incredible! From the moment we entered the church parking lot from the staging area, there was a steady influx of people filling the driveway from the street to the front doors of the church. The photos can be found at at this link. If you would leave a comment on any picture, it would give the people who weren't able to attend to get a feel of the day's event. Thank you,
Angel E. |

We were honored to attend the mission for Sgt. Joseph Perry. There were so many people lining the street & driveway. Ringlord brought 50 flags and I think he loaned each one out! I spoke to one woman that told me she heard about the service on a local radio talk show. She knew then that she had to be there to support the family. She brought two other people. I have a feeling the media was there expecting to something different than they did. Instead they saw an incredible outpouring of love and support for Sgt. Perry and his family.

I'm the woman who heard about this because of the radio talk show. My husband has been an active duty marine for 13 years and we've unfortunately attended a few services over the past few years.
My husband and I were shocked and most pleasantly surprised when we walked up to Chevron and saw all of the riders. We had been afraid that we would be the only people awkwardly standing on the sidewalk. Boy, were we WAY wrong. That day was incredibly sad and inspirational at the same time.
It was so nice to see the patriotic spirit in so many people once again. I hope Sgt. Perry was watching and proud. |

Charleen,
Most of us are Vietnam Vet's and we still live with the memories of how we were treated 38-45 Yrs. Ago.
When we saw and heard about these slimeballs and what they were doing we decided that we either sit and bitch about it or do something positive so these Young Men and Women would know America cares.
I am also proud of the Non-Vet's just the regular working Americans who also support the troops. They to are Patriots and stand for the same ideas that the PGR stands for.
It is healing for me and I can speak for Most of my Brothers and Sisters the healing we get through Funerals and Welcome Home Rides and visiting Our Hero's in V.A. Hospital speaks volumes of our Mission in Life. Most of us are seeing things a little more clearly and know this is something we have to do to make sure another Man or Women who serves and who sacrifice their life will Never Be Forgotten again.
Also to make sure they will be treated with Honor and Respect.
During WW II it was not only the Fighting men and Women who gave support but it was the men and Women on the Home-front who gave just as much if not more to help the War effort.
Taking care of the guys that were dying for their very way of life.
So the PGR is all of that we all stand together to support the hero's and their family and friends to let them know we are Americans and we do care about their loved ones fighting so we can come home at night and sit and Watch TV or do anything only a people can do in a Free Country.
Thank You for your support and thank Your Husband for his Serve also, and thank you for allowing him to be the man he wants to be .
Your Bro, Pegleg
