It was an honor to be at at CPO Pratt's service. This was my husband's and my 2nd mission, and no, it doesn't get any easier emotionally. For the first time in years I found myself praying outloud.

The wind was whipping the flags so hard that day, it would have drowned out any protesters had they shown up. The Guard held the flags high and proud like a canopy over CPO Pratt's family as they entered and left the church. His daughter gazed up at the flags as she was carried out of the limo. I pray she somehow remembers that. She is a beautiful little girl. I know her Daddy loved her.

The ride from the church to DFW National Cemetery was picture perfect...even with the lane change ;-) Members of our Guard were asked to help be road guards and they did an awesome job.

I wish there were never another service...but my husband and I will always be honored to stand by and await the honor of serving at another.

CQQL:

Excellent camera work. There were many parts of the service some of us couldn't see, it was great to be able to see from another prospective.

RIDE CAPT:

Excellent work. It all ran as smooth as silk. What lane change?

PGR:

I am very proud to be a part of this organization. You are truly a great bunch.

THE PRATT FAMILY;

I hope that in some small way the PGR eased the pain you must be feeling. Thank you so much for allowing us to come and honor your son's life.

PO2 PRATT:

Carry on sailor. We have the watch.
