 Served 12 yrs, 4 yrs active duty A.F. Delayed enlistment 1977 which allowed me to be qualified as a Viet Nam ERA vet, but do not claim it since I did not serve in war time. Went into LA Air National Guard after my first 4 yr tour hoping to complete college on VA assistance. Got screwed and took out student loans which I ultimately repaid three times due to lost paperwork. Re-entered Active duty 1983. Served tour in Saudia Arabia and was awarded Armed Service Expiditionary Medal for that stint. Left active duty for good in 1990 as Motorola made me an offer I could not refuse.
