My brother was in the Korean War and my son spent 9 years in the Navy and was in the Pentagon when it was bombed on 9/11. My son-in-law is a pilot in the 17th Cavalry, spent 11 months in Iraq in 2003 & 2004. He is now with the 6/17 Cavalry in Mosul, Iraq. I now live in Madisonville, Republic of Texas and work as a pipe designer for an engineering firm in Houston, Texas. The one thing about this organization I have always wanted to ask is “Why did it take so long for us, as Americans, to wake up and see that something like this is needed”.
The sound of 200 people holding flags -- is deafening.
