Bio:
Born in Okinawa, Japan (Army Hospital) I grew up in Forest Park, Ga a few miles south of Atlanta. I graduated from FPHS and shortly there after joined the U.S. Army. I entered service in March of 1986 as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) assistant and after going through EOD school in 1987 - 88 I became an EOD technician. (My father retired from EOD as a Seargent Major and my Father-in law retired from EOD as a Seargent First Class.) I met my wife in high school and we married in 1984. The same year that Our son was born. We had a daughter in 1988 and another in 1993. We were stationed at Fort Campbell, KY (17th EOD) and Dugway Proving Ground, UT (Tech Escort (EOD)). I seperated from the Army and signed on to go to Kuwait to clean up Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) from the Kuwaiti desert. I then volunteered to clear landmines that the Iraqis had left. That was interesting and fun. After Kuwait, we "settled" in Forest Park (I drove a truck) again but only for about 6 years. We couldn't wait to leave. That place has become a horrible place to live and I thank God every day that I got my kids out of there. We moved to Maui, Hawaii because there was a long-term UXO project on a small neighboring island. We stayed there for over two years but I then accepted a position as the UXO Quality Control Manager for a company in Knoxville, TN. We stayed there for a year and then I was hired by the Gov't to work in Fort Worth, TX as an Ordnance and Explosives Safety Specialist. I have been in Ft Worth since March 2002. I expect we'll be moving along sometime in 2006 or 2007. We'll see. My son has graduated from HS and my oldest daughter will graduate this year and begin college. My youngest is in 8th grade (2006). I currently ride a 1998 XLH 1200 Sportster. I have owned a 1998 Suzuki GSX600S Bandit and a 1983 Suzuki GS650M Katana in the past. Both great bikes. See, I was right...I moved to the Huntsville, AL area in December of 2006 and currently reside in Somerville, AL.
