USMC 1979 through 1986. I made the rank of Staff Sergeant, Nettie made Sergeant. Went in when it was calm, got out before the stuff really hit the fan. Good timing I guess. Worse thing that happened was Beirut, Lebanon and Granada. Best thing was Nettie and I meeting. Been married to that lovely lady sence January 1980!!! Love what the PGR is doing and we are both proud to be members!
