Gary “Ol Bill” Amerson will be Ride Captain

 

Stage at the BP gas station at the junction of Highway 98 and Highway 1 (Capital Blvd) in Wake Forest at 2:45.  Kickstands up at 3 pm for a short 1 mile ride to the church.

 

(There is a Shell station across the street and a Mickey D's on the other side of Hwy 1)     (Rolling Thunder will be staging at Mickey D's at 3:30)

 

Set up flag line at church for family and friends to enter thru.

 

Set up flag line at the end of service for all to pass thru.

 

Those that are available, ride in procession from church to funeral home.

Mass will be 9 Jan 2009 at 4PM at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church

The family has specifically requested the PGR and is reaching out to a number of Veteran riding organizations.
They would like for us to come and stand and honor their loved one.

This will be a Flagline only mission with a possible escort to the family home after the service.

I will be point of contact until a ride captain is assigned.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Richard Ciafardini. My heartfelt condolences go out to all family and friends.

Those of us there will understand how he didn't get his due when he returned from Vietnam, but have also pledged to make sure none of our brothers will ever be forgotten.
