Short Notice   Confirmed Mission

Daniel Scott Stecker
USMC Veteran
Antigo, WI

June 4, 2009

Daniel Scott Stecker, of Merrill and a former Menasha resident, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Langlade County as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 55 years old. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in the military police.  His son Adam is currently in the Marines.  His family has asked us to stand with his friends in his honor at Dan’s Memorial Service.
 
Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Stecker of Menasha; son, Adam Stecker of Menasha and currently stationed in California for the Marine Corps; and his mother, Elinor Stecker of Menasha.


Visitation

June 4, 2009

12:30 until 2

Memorial Service

Follows immediately

2 p.m. at the funeral home

 Military honors will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.

There will be no processional escort.

No RC assigned at this time. 

In PGR tradition, please be prepared and arrive with your own flag.

I pray the lord takes you into his Kingdom and may you rest in peace. You will not be forgotten "A True American Hero"! I Salute You Sir! To the family and friends of Veteran Daniel Stecker,

There are no words or platitudes that can temper your pain. I can’t think of anything in life that could be more painful, then the loss of a loved one.

I would, however, like to take a moment to remind you that as deep as the hole in your heart feels at this time, it will be filled over time with the wonderful times spent together.
