33rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, Illinois Army National Guard, Machesney Park, IL
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested in helping to welcome the 33rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, home.
Date
September 28th 2009
Location
Rest stop/Illinois welcome center on the eastbound (south) side of I-90 approx. one mile south of WI state line.

If coming by I-90 westbound (north), continue past the rest stop, then exit at Gardner St (highway 75). Then get back on I-90 east (south), the rest stop is approx. one half miles south.
We well be staging in the trailer/rv parking area, not the car parking area.
Staging:
2:30pm
Brief:
3:00 pm
The troops should get to the rest stop shortly after the brief, at which point we will fall into the escort. We will be proceeding to the Machesney Park armory, where we will form lines as the soldiers unload and dismiss.
