National Guard SGT Michael Hoover
PALATINE/KILDEER, IL

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate along with other organizations in celebrating the homecoming of National Guard Sgt. Michael Hoover. Sgt. Hoover has served in Afghanistan for approximately 14 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and has served as an officer with the Kildeer Police Department for approximately 9 years. We deeply appreciate Sgt. Hoover’s dedicated service to the United States of America and his community, and we are honored to be involved in this mission...our thanks to the Kildeer Police Department for the invitation.
Date : Sunday, October 11, 2009
Staging Location : Parking lot of the old Menards ; 1775 N. Rand Rd. (aka Rt. 12),
Palatine , IL ; located between Dundee and Lake-Cook Rds.
Staging Time : 9:00AM
Briefing Time: 9:15AM
There will be a short escort into the Village of Kildeer for a recognition and presentation ceremony, possibly followed by a second short escort into the Village of Lake Zurich for a similar ceremony. Further details will be provided at the briefing and all plans are contingent on the wishes of the Kildeer Police Department.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.
