EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE
 
Final mission plan is to provide a flag line on Sunday 11-8-2009  at Great Neck Baptist Church,
220 General Jackson Road, Virginia Beach.
Please meet at the Church NLT 11:30AM.
 
 
There is no escort required.
Please bring your 3 x 5 flags and stand tall to show our appreciation for CPO Greenwood and
his commitment to protect our freedoms.

This mission is on hold with a possible stand down.  Flight info has changed again cancelling 0200 arrival.  Arrival time is yet unconfirmed so will keep thread open for extremely short notice changes.

As goes with Welcome Home missions, this one has changes in arrival and rally times. 

CPO Greenwood's flight will now arrive at 0200 hours, 6 Nov 09.  Rally place and time is still Gate 4 at 0100 hours now.  Southsiders wishing to participate can rally at the Park and Ride at Reon Rd and Indian River Road with departure at 0045 hours or 12:45 a.m.

Time: 2130 / 9:30pm.

Arrival Place: Naval Air Station Norfolk. Mac. Terminal.

RIDE CAPTAIN: Dennis “Stitch-Master” Crouch

CO. RIDE CAPTAIN: Bob Thurman 

All Contac’s Have been made this mission is a go. 

Mica Greenwood EODC; Attached to Mobile Unit-6

Based out of Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Virginia Beach, VA. 

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to Receive and escort Mica Greenwood EODC on his returning home after a 7 month deployment in IRAQ supporting the Global War Terror.  

Staging time: 2030 / 8:30pm.

Place: Gate #4 Naval Air Station Norfolk

KSU: 2100 / 9:pm.to Mac. Terminal.

Escort to: U.S. Army/Naval Base Fort Store, Virginia Beach. 

Rout to be put out at Pre. Brief.

Weather in the low 50’s, No rain called for. Dress Warm.

All went will. The family of EODC Mica Greenwood
passes on a great deal of thanks to the PGR for honoring there hero.

This was a good turnout for an extremely short notice; Chief Greenwood was very surprised.

Without all of you this could not have happened. Think you for allowing me to be your ride captain.
