This is a great honor for Bob and the other inductees. Please do check out the website to see the past inductees.

This mission is a great opportunity for us to showcase the Ohio Patriot Guard Riders.

For those of you in the SW corner of the state, we will stage at the Shell station located just East of Exit 25 at I-71 (Kings Mill Rd.) at 1030hrs. We will then proceed to Love's Truck Stop at Exit 65 (US 35) and meet anyone from the Dayton area the would like to ride up to Columbus with us. We should arrive there around 1100hrs.

If that won't work for you, just proceed to the Columbus staging area at 1230 hrs.

Help spread the word. This is going to be a great mission. See you all on the 6th.

I am personally asking and encouraging you all to turn out and support our own Bob Woods and all the Hall of famers.

Congratulations to you Bob and the other inductees in this year’s class of the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame. I am a very proud and Patriotic American that is grateful for the service and sacrifice of all our Veterans and will be there to shake the hands of all the Vets that show up.

As a veteran myself I know and understand the sacrifices that are made by those who serve. The vet puts their life on hold to defend the Freedoms of people of all shapes, sizes, colors and religions, and people that they don’t know and will probably never meet. A veteran is one of the most unselfish people you will ever meet, because he is willing to go to lands that are far away leaving the comforts of home, leaving their family and friends to suffer in hot and cold temperatures, fights off insects, diseases, boredom at times and combat that can last for hours to defend OUR Freedoms.

In the United States people look to professional athletes as heroes, well for me from a young age the Heroes I have had were Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines as well as police officers and fire fighters, and I still feel that way today. In closing I want to thank all that have served, those serving today and those who will serve in the future. You are the Greatest people on the face of the earth. God Bless you all and God Bless the USA!
