Memorial Ceremony Honoring Sergeant  William Callahan  Canton, MA 10 Nov 09

        The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a  Marine Corps Birthday and veterans wreath laying service honoring fallen Marine Ssgt William Callahan.  We anticipate the presence of Mary -Ellen  Callahan at the ceremony

        Many of us remember that the PGR were present at his funeral in Easton, MA on 8 May 2007. Bill was killed while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province in Iraq on 27 April 2007.

        LOCATION/STAGING LOCATION:  We will stage in the parking lot of the ceremony

        From Rt. 95  take exit 11A to Neponset St. Canton. Follow to stop sign, turn right on Washington St. About 1/2 mile on right is High St.  Take right to Knollwood

        STAGING TIME:   1:00 PM - 1:30 PM  Tuesday 10 November 09

        BRIEFING: 1:35 PM

        We will then form a flag line and remain in place until the conclusion of the ceremony. Afterwards, we are invited into the hall for cake and light refreshments.
