I wish to extend my thanks to Major General Greg Martin and all the personnel of Fort Leonard Wood for inviting me to stand Flag Line at the Memorial for the Falllen today. It was a beautiful and moving experience. I was honored to stand Flag Line with my brother and sister Patriot Guard Riders and to be so warmly greeted by all the soldiers I met. God bless and watch over all of you at Fort Leonard Wood.

This memorial was indeed very moving. I was lucky enough find this group this morning when searching for what was printed about the event this weekend. Your participation was a significant contribution to the memorial. We went down from Columbia and played in the rugby tournament that followed the service. The service set a fantastic tone for a great day of friendly battle on the rugby field, which while a bit difficult for the older folks like us, only serves as a weak metaphor for what those in our military sacrifice. Thank you again and I hope we get the opportunity to participate again in the future.
