Ozarks Honor Flight--Itinerary Update, Tuesday, November 17th

Big Flag Bikes:  Meet @ the Courtyard Marriot Airport, 3527 W. Kearney, Springfield.  (It is located on the Northwest corner at N. West Bypass & W. Kearney.

Need to be there NO LATER THAN 0445 hours.  We will be escorting the buses from there to the airport @ 0500 hours.

All others:  Meet @ the Springfield/Branson Airport, 0445 hours, to assemble Flag line to receive the ‘Greatest Generation’ as they arrive at the airport by bus.

As of now, the flight is expected to arrive back @ 2230 hours; however, we’ve instructed that could change as much as 30 minutes, either way.  So folks, as Frank would say, Flexibility….Flexibility….Flexibility.   Plan on being there before 2200 hours for the welcome home party/reception and Flag Line.

Once again, the media is going to be everywhere.  Any questions, call me @ (417) 844-9771.

THE PATRIOT GUARD’S PRESENCE HAS BEEN REQUESTED

As PGR members, we have been asked to assemble a flag line at the Springfield/Branson Airport Tuesday morning, November 17th at 5:45am. We will be standing side by side with other members of various local Veterans Service Organizations in two adjacent lines from the bus unloading area located in a private parking area on the East side of the Airport on in through the Airport up to the Security Check Point, thus giving the proper send off these Men and Women Heroes richly deserve. In addition, we will have Big Flag Bikes escorting the Buses from the local hotel to the receiving area at the Airport. If you will be able to attend with big flags on please contact Mick Dunn for staging information.

Upon their return that evening, we will welcome them home once again with the biggest reception these Heroes and Springfield has ever seen with another flag line @ 10:00pm.  This being the inaugural flight, there will be an enormous amount of local media coverage.

Please plan to attend if you can and spread the word. I will be updating as final arrangements are made.  If there are questions, feel free to contact me at:

WELCOME HOME and THANK YOU for your Service to the WW II Veterans.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.
