As we all know, the GOLD STAR MOTHERS are one of our countries most respected group of people due to the sacrifice they have made and suffered. Thursday, following this coming Veterans Day, a ceremony will take place for the groundbreaking of a memorial to the veterans and their mothers in York PA.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been honored with a request to be in attendance and to participate in the ceremonies. Since the PGR has stood for most, if not all, of the heroes these women have lost, the PGR will now stand in silence and respect at the ground breaking for a memorial to honor them.
This Memorial Garden will be constructed next to the existing Veterans Memorial at the
Veterans Memorial Park on South Edgar St in York PA.
