My appreciation and condolences go out to the family and friends of Don Kanney. Thank you Don for your dedication to honoring our fallen heroes and for giving those you encountered the feeling of pride and freedom. Your mission accomplished here, ride on with your angelic wings, and possibly as a guardian angel for another fellow rider. God is now your road captain, rest easy.

Final report on the mission this morning.......43 bikes......5 cages......Church to capacity......standing room only (which were Guard Members...awesome). 1 hour and 45 min service filled with laughs and tears but some really good laughs.
Who knew he was such a jokester. A 45 min wait to get Gail back into the limo at the church...she is such a talker.
The reception was awesome...crowded as we knew it would be. Escort went exceptionally well and without incident.

Special thanks to the riders from the North Country......We appreciate your riding down here to show respect for a fellow
Guard Member.

Don Kanney is gone but definately will not be forgotten......he lives on in each of us that knew him. I want MY memorial service to just come close to what I saw and heard today.
