My most heartfelt regret and sympathy to all family and friends of U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Alberto Francesconi. Our country owes Alberto an eternal debt of honor and respect for his service and sacrifice. My words are weak in the face of what the beloved of this young man must now be enduring; but please know that many who never met your young man sorrow for your loss. I pray that Goodness and Mercy will follow all who grieve. May there be an outpouring of human and devine love and sympathy for all who cared for this young man through all the days of his childhood. May they ever walk in the company of caring angels, until they pass through the gates of Heaven, and once again feel the embrace of their beloved.
