“Mothers Motorcycle Rally” July 4, 2009 Candler, NC Supporting the WNC Blue Star Mothers – supporting our troops. A patriot, one day motorcycle event at TA in Candler (exit 37 off I-40) to raise money for sending care packages to our troops Bands, vendors, bike games, a bike show with trophies (including one for most patriot!). A mail station so attendees can write letters to soldiers who otherwise wouldn’t receive mail. A flag raising, missing man ceremony, an introduction to the WNC Blue Star Mothers and an invocation by Graham Dienert, Reverend Billy Graham’s Grandson will start the event. Patriot’s Path; a guided motorcycle ride with a stop at The Veterans Quarters (local Veteran’s Shelter) The party ends up back at TA with another band, trophies awarded, door prizes given out and drink and dinner specials. Money raised goes to the WNC Blue Star Mothers who are sending care packages to our currently serving troops.

I just realized this does not have times on it. The rally starts at 10:30 with flag raising at 11 am. It will end around 8 pm

The time is getting close. If you can please support the Blue Star Mothers working hard to collect and send comforts to our deployed as they go about their duties in a hostile environment. This is an all around event, bike show, door prizes, a mail station with materials for writing letters of encouragement to the troops, a Patriots Ride including a visit to the Veterans Quarters and much more. Starts at the Truck Stop of America in Candler NC at exit 37 off I-40 near the mountains of the Blue Ridge at 10:30; flag raising at 11:00 and the party ends back at the truck stop at 8:00. [b]Where else can you enjoy so many things in one event for so little cost and help our troops by having fun? [/b]
