The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to attend and participate in the Fallen Hero Escort for WWII Army MSgt Allen Strutz, in Hayward on Thursday July 2nd.  The Hayward War Memorial was rededicated the Allen F Strutz Veterans Memorial Bldg in 2002.

We will stage at the Chapel, in Hayward, at 9:30 AM (0930).

Please arrive quietly as there will be a viewing in progress.

We will provide a Flag Line at approx 10:00 AM (1000) to move the veteran to his transportation.  We will then provide a PGR Escort to the Cemetery, also in Hayward, Ca for the service scheduled for 11:00 AM (1100).

We will establish a Flag Line to transfer the MSgt into the Chapel.  After the service, we will set up a new Flag Line for the transfer to the final resting place (the family will NOT be present at the resting place.)

Thank you for my freedom MSgt Strutz. May you rest in peace.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Allen Strutz, WWII Veteran. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Allen.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.
