HOTH- Mt. Vernon's Veterans Home 4th Annual Christmas Visit, Mt. Vernon, MO, 12 DEC 09

Well my friends it is time once again for our fourth annual Christmas visit to the veterans home in Mount Vernon Missouri.

The date for this visit is December 12 at 2 PM.

This is a great way to show our veteran's how much we appreciate their many years of service to our great country. Once again there is a great need for some items for the commissary such as personal care items like soap and shampoo's toothpaste denture cream and cleaner, hair brushes , disposable razors and rechargeable razors.

If you can bring anything at all please do so, it is very much appreciated by all. Mug, and I have done this for the past three years and it's always heartwarming to see the smiling faces on these veterans when we visit with them.

As always we will be meeting for a little meet, greet and eat at 12 noon at the Country Pride Restaurant . This is at the travel centers of America Truck Stop inMount Vernon, this is a great way to see some old friends and faces and hope to see many new ones there as well. We have moved the date up this year to December 12 hoping for some really good weather but if the weather is a little nasty there's always a four wheel vehicle so don't let this be an excuse this year, so mark your calendars and set this day aside to honor our veterans.

If you need any more information please give me a call or e-mail. RJ 417-439-5342 rjbailey53@hotmail.com
