In spite of some great progress in some areas of the site, we are continuing to have some speed issues. The issue is primarily related to direct searches on our Events Calendar system, which displays missions. Extended queries against the database are locking up the rest of the site. We are working with the vendor to resolve the issue.

Until the issue is resolved, we’ve removed the menu option to review upcoming missions by the month. However, you can still access mission information by going to the state page. If you are logged in, select the State Page link in the upper right. If you are not logged in, you can go to any state page by entering the URL https://www.patriotguard.org/xx-state-page, replacing the xx with the state’s two letter abbreviations. The listings for missions on the state pages are very fast, although calling up the particular mission may take several seconds.

This change does not affect mission submissions, or notices going out to members. We also believe this is temporary, and hope to have a solution from the vendor soon.
