The Northwest Florida Patriot Guard will be honored to escort Lt Col Selembo as he is laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery, where we will stand a Color Guard and Silent Flag Line in his honor. Lt Col Selembo joined the United States Air Force on 23 June 1988 and served until 30 April 2011. Lt Col Selembo was a C-141 Navigator. During his time in the service, he received the following awards: Defense Meritorious Service Medal with 1 OLC, Meritorious Service Medal with 3 OLC, Aerial Achievement Medal with 1 OLC, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal with 2 OLC, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 1 OLC, Combat Readiness Medal with 2 OLC, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with 1 Service Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 1 Service Star, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Ribbon Short Tour, Air Force Overseas Ribbon Long Tour, Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, Air Force Longevity Service with 4 OLC, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon (Pistol), Air Force Training Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and NATO Medal.
Lt Col Selembo was born 17 Aug 1962 and died 7 April 2026 at the age of 63.

Instructions:
Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola requires DOT approved helmets, appropriate eye protection, long sleeve shirts, full fingered gloves, long trousers and leather footwear covering the ankles. These required safety items must be always worn while riding on NAS Pensacola. Military installations prohibit the carry and/or possession of Privately Owned Weapons while on Federal property – with or without a concealed carry permit.

1:30 pm – KSU to Olive Baptist Church, 103 W. Winthrop Ave, Pensacola, Florida
2:00 pm – Meet Family
2:15 pm – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery on board NAS Pensacola, Site “B”
2:30 pm – Military Honors Observed
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
