Ben Thomas Traywick, United States Navy Veteran, proudly served his country from 1945 to 1950. While in service to his country, he achieved the rating of Gunner’s Mate Third Class Petty Officer maintaining guided missile systems, gun mounts, ordinance, small arms and worked with electrical mechanical hydraulic equipment. He earned many medals and commendations to include the World War II Victory Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal 7th award, Philippine Liberation Medal 2nd Award, China Service Medal Extended, Occupation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Gunner’s Mate Traywick’s final duty station was Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia where he was honorably discharged on May 22, 1950.
It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show honor and respect to this hero for his sacrifices made for our nation.

The Tombstone Marshal Team will lead the escort and has protocol and procedures in place for us to follow.
Immediately following the briefing we will escort our hero and family to the Tombstone City Cemetery located at 601 West Allen, Tombstone, AZ 85638 for 11:00 a.m. Military Honors.
Please ensure your cell phones are silenced and your music from your bike is off.
Remember to hydrate the day before as well as the day of the mission.
