Ronald Ransom leaves behind a life grounded in faith, service and a love of family, community and country. Ronald loved the outdoors, spending many hours hunting and fishing. He was a 51 year member of the Old River Fishing Club. In those years he served in all the leadership positions. He joined the Air Force, serving from 1970 to 1974, and attaining the rank of Sergeant as a Airplane Mechanic. After his service ended, he spent many years as a Machinist at Maybelline. Ronald received: the Vietnam Service Medal; and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, 1 stepson, 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings and many other extended family members and friends
