About the Mission:

Sgt 1st Class Simon Daniel Hamann, served honorably in the United States Army from 1988 to 1992, with duty in the Gulf War/ODS and the National Guard from 1992 to 2002. He also was a California Highway Patrol Officer for 26 years. He was awarded: the Army Commendation Medal 2nd award; Army Achievement Medal 3rd award; Valorous Unit Award; Army Good Conduct Medal 2nd award; National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Southwest Asia Service Medal w/2 bronze service stars; Non Commissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon; Parachutist Badge; Bronze German Armed forces Parachutist Badge
