The Patriot Guard will be honored to escort Lieutenant Colonel Norman M. Turner to his final resting place at Barrancas National Cemetery. Lt Col Turner served over 20 years of active duty in the United States Air Force. He was a Tactical Fighter Pilot (F-100 Super Saber and F-4 Phantom) and was highly decorated with 335 missions in Vietnam; receiving the following awards and decorations: Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross (w/3 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal (w/20 OLC), Air Force Commendation Medal (w/1 OLC), United States Meritorious Unit Medal, Combat Readiness Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Award (w/4 OLC), Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Republic of Vietnam Medal.
He was born on August 2, 1936 and passed away quietly on August 21, 2025, at the age of 89.

1:10 pm – Depart for Barrancas National Cemetery
1:30 pm – Honors/Interment, Site B
