The Northwest Florida Patriot Guard will be honored to escort Airman Marvin Jerome Wopat, Jr to his final resting place at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida, where we will stand a Color Guard and Silent Flag Line for his service to a Grateful Nation. Airman Wopat served in the United States Navy for three years as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate – Aircraft Handler. During his honorable service he received the National Defense Service Medal
He was born on April 8, 1947, and passed from this earth on March 20, 2026, at the age of 78.

Instructions:
Naval Air Station Pensacola requires DOT approved helmets, appropriate eye protection, long sleeve shirts, full fingered gloves, long trousers and leather footwear covering the ankles. These required safety items must be always worn while riding on NAS Pensacola. Military installations prohibit the carry and/or possession of Privately Owned Weapons while on Federal property – with or without a concealed carry permit.

10:30 am – Roll Time (W/LEO Escort) to Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola
11:30 am – Military Honors observed
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
