About the Mission:

Ronald Lee Piper, 77, was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Like many of his generation, he answered his country’s call and fulfilled his civic obligation. He was inducted on May 7th, 1968 and was honorably discharged on April 9th, 1970 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Most importantly, Ron was a constant source of support and encouragement to his wife, children, and grandson.
