The family of Uxbridge Police Officer Stephen A. LaPorta have requested our presence at the funeral and interment of their loved one.
Stephen proudly served his community as an Uxbridge Police Officer. Patriot Guard has been invited to join Law Enforcement both State, Local Police and several other groups from around the state and beyond, to pay respects and honor for Officer Stephen Laporta. He was tragically killed while on duty assisting a motorist on Rt 146 in Uxbridge after being struck by another passing vehicle on 07 Jan 2026.
Officer Laporta began his career as a dispatcher and fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer just one year ago. He was all about service to his community and lost his life serving that community.
