Jason “Spanky” Martin joined the Kansas, OK fire department in 2013, and became the fire chief in 2019, and served until his death in 2025. In 2015 he also served as fire captain for the Siloam Springs fire department. Jason was passionate about serving his community and spent countless hours helping those in need of a helping hand.
He married the love of his life, Misty Bilby Martin on Oct 19, 2010, and they had two sons and two daughters and five grandchildren.

PGR will stage at 9:00 am and will hold briefing, we will then accompany fire trucks, and the hero and family to the funeral home in Siloam Springs, AR. where the hero will and family will spend the night.
Flags will be provided.

Riders will stage at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral home, 1401 E main, Siloam Springs, AR at 10:00 am. KSU at 10:15 am to accompany the hero to the Kansas High School Gym, 700 N Woods, Kansas, OK
This will be a service only and PGR will present the plaque and letter of invocation.
