Legionnaires from American Legion Post 193 of Chapin, South Carolina, will lay to rest the cremated remains of previously unclaimed veterans at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. They are:
U.S. Army Veteran PFC Herbert C. Dandelski served in the United States Army from March 5, 1969, to February 4, 1972. He was born November 15, 1951, and passed away August 12, 2025. Veteran Dandelski served during the Vietnam Era.
U.S. Army Veteran SFC Robert Parker served in the United States Army from March 27, 1975, to August 31, 1988. He was born June 5, 1945, and passed away January 19, 2026. Veteran Parker was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal. Also being interred with Veteran Parker is his spouse, Gracie Ann Parker, born July 24, 1955, who passed away August 2, 2015.
U.S. Army Veteran PV2 Richard Parker served in the United States Army from June 25, 1980, to November 13, 1981. He was born February 16, 1962, and passed away September 28, 2025.
U.S. Army Veteran PV2 Billy Page served in the United States Army from January 9, 1968, to September 21, 1971. He was born September 4, 1949, and passed away August 22, 2025. Veteran Page served during the Vietnam Era.
U.S. Marine Corps Veteran PVT John Robert Griffin served in the United States Marine Corps from December 3, 1953, to December 2, 1956. He was born June 26, 1935, and passed away January 24, 2026. Veteran Griffin served during the Korean War Era.
U.S. Navy Veteran MA3 Louise Stalnaker served in the United States Navy from September 12, 1963, to September 9, 1966. She was born August 19, 1942, and passed away February 17, 2026. Veteran Stalnaker served during the Vietnam Era.
These veterans honorably served their country when called upon to do so and deserve to be buried with the honor and dignity earned through their service to our nation.

Briefing at the administrative building at 10:15 AM and then movement to the committal shelter for the service. We will conduct a flag line during the service and military honors.
Flags will be provided.
Large Bike Flags will not be needed.
