We would like to thank the NW FL Patriot Guard Riders for the services provided at our father Raymond E. Trusz’s internment at Ft. Barrancas National Cemetery on October 13, 2025. We are a “military family” with several generations who have served or are currently serving our country and our Dad instilled in us the meaning of service to others. We were overwhelmed with gratitude to see the support of PGR for his internment – the sheer number of those who showed up and escorted our family to Barrancas, the touching color guard presentation, and the words of comfort spoken by each of you to our family.
October 13 would have been our parents 63rd wedding anniversary, and the NWFL Patriot Guard Riders helped us not only honor Dad’s service but also their love for one another. You helped us find peace and joy by your presence, and that will never be forgotten.
