About the Mission:

Martin Byrne is a US Air Force retired Vietnam veteran. Born February in 1949, he enlisted in January of 1968, served as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician in Vietnam and was Honorably retired in November of 1987. While serving his nation Master Sergeant (E&) Johnson received awards including the: Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device (w/2 devices), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon w/2 devices, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon w/2 devices, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/4 devices, Vietnam Service Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Air Force Training Ribbon, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon w/device, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/device, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal

It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude to this hero for his sacrifices made to this nation
