William Max Piechocki, age 98, turned the lights off on a long life of service to his country, community, church and family on June 13, 2026. Working as a cook in the Army and stationed at Pusan, Korea, he help prepare 525 meals a day for members of Company H of the 63rd Infantry. After his service time he married and raised 2 sons, 3 daughters and help raise 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was a devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, serving as the Parish Manager and a member of the cemetery committee. He provided for his family by working for Olin Corp, were he became the Manager of Distribution. Willie’s love for his wife and faith was closely followed by his love of time spent outdoors working in his garden, hunting and fishing and his woodworking projects
