Billy Jenkins served 4 years in the US Marine Corps as a tank crewman, including 27 months overseas. He was Honorably discharged on 6 May 1965 at the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3).
After the service he worked for a printing company. He loved motorcycles but had trouble keeping the rubber down so he had to quit riding. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years. 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many other family and friends.
