About the Mission:

Miguel Angel Aponte-Ortiz, 70, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived there most of his life, settling in Long County in 2013. He retired as a service technician from PGW in Philadelphia after 30 years of dedicated service and was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

Instructions:

After a briefing, we will assemble an honorable flag line for the arrival of family and friends for the 1:00 PM service.  After the start of the service, we will stand down and prepare for a rolling honor guard to Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville for a 3:00 PM interment.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
