About the Mission:

Richard Scott Quercio served this nation proudly in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve. With over 3 years of sea service, Richard attained the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (HT3) as a Hull Maintenance Technician. Petty Officer Quercio’s last duty station was Midway Island.

It shall be our honor to carry Petty Officer Quercio via Pony Express to his final resting place at Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery and stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude to this hero for his sacrifices made for this nation and then return to Arizona to present his family with his burial flag.
