Gene Luther McPherson (04/02/1940 – 09/28/2025) served his country as a member of the United States Army from 04/21/1959 until his honorable discharge 04/20/1965. Gene attained the rank of E-2. He was awarded the parachutist badge and expert badge (rifle and carbine)
