Lee joined the Army in 1958 right after High school, serving his country for 21 years. Over his time in the service, Lee was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Due to his military career, Lee and his family moved all over the world. Before settling in Lawton, OK and retiring in 1979.

Post Flags: Immediately following briefing.
KSU: After the service, approx.11:15 am
We will stage at the Funeral Home at 10:00 am and post flags. Note, there is little ground on which to post a full count of 21 flags. After posting the flags we will stand door detail as family and friends arrive. After the service starts, we will pull the flags and place them in the support vehicle. Flags will be posted at Fort Sill National Cemetery by other Patriot Guard members before our arrival.
Once the service has concluded, we will provide escort from the Funeral Home to Fort Sill National Cemetery 2648 Jake Dunn Road, Elgin, Ok. LEO is expected. After we arrive at FSNC we will escort our hero and family and friends to Shelter #2 where we will dismount and stand a flag line as MSG Holden is carried to the Shelter.
