About the Mission:

Tech Sergeant Holder served for 20 years before his retirement in June of 1980. Awards and decorations: Air Force Commendation Medal- Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with One Oak Leaf Cluster- Air Force Good Conduct Medal with Five Oak Leaf Clusters- National Defense Service Medal- Vietnam Service Medal with Three Bronze Service Stars- Air Force Longevity Service Award with Four Oak Leaf Clusters.

Instructions:

We will stage at the church and place our static flags around the perimeter of the building. Once the service starts, we will be officially done with our part, but the military honors ceremony will take place at the front outside of the church at the end of the service, so we have been asked if we could leave our flags up until the military completes their portion.
Please note that stages 2 and 3 will take place the following Tuesday, May 27.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
Large Bike Flags will not be needed.
Water will be provided.

 

Stage 2 Details:
May 27, 2025 — 11:00 AM
Hirschi Junior High School Parking Lot
3106 Borton Lane
Wichita Falls, TX

Instructions:

We will stage at Hirschi Junior High School parking lot and, at 11:20, we will depart from there and go approximately a city block to the family home to meet and accompany them to the Fort Sill National Cemetery. Please have your gas tanks full as there will be no stops between the home and the cemetery.

Flags will not be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.

 

Stage 3 Details:
May 27, 2025 — 12:40 PM
Fort Sill National Cemetery

Instructions:

We will stage at the visitor’s center where we will be met by the Oklahoma PGR and prepare to be accompanied by the cemetery staff to the shelter. Upon completion of the service we will have a short debrief and be dismissed.

Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
