About the Mission:

SFC David E. Cramer enlisted in the U.S. Army on 27 June 1977 and after basic received his advanced training as a UH-60 Helicopter repairman. In his 20 years of service, 7 years, 2 months and 5 days were spent in SW Asia. His decorations and medals are as follows: Meritorious Service Medal/ Air Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device “V”// Army Commendation Medal//Army Achievement Medal (5th Award)// Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award)//National Defense Service Medal// Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars (BSS)// Non-Commissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3// Army Service Ribbon//Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award)//Master Aircraft Crewman Badge. SFC Cramer is as follows: Utility Helicopter Repairman 10 Weeks, 1977// Primary Non-Commissioned Officer Course, 3 Weeks 1981//Aviation Accident Prevention Course, 2 Weeks 1990// Basic NCO Course, 6 Weeks, 1987// Advanced NCO Course, 10 Weeks, 1991// Helicopter Repair Supervisor Course, 9 Weeks,1991// Instructor Training Course, 3 Weeks,1992. SFC David E. Cramer retired on 30 June 1997.
