The PGR and #GivingTuesday

Campaign Extended

Because of the short notice of our 2020 Giving Tuesday campaign, we’ve decided to leave the campaign through the weekend. We will close the campaign Sunday night, Dec 6th.

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global movement meant to counteract the spirit of consumerism over the holidays with a day dedicated to giving. Giving Tuesday is done on the first Tuesday following the traditional “Black Friday” shopping spree. This year it’s on December 1st. You’ll often see the #GivingTuesday hashtag used in conjunction with the campaigns.

The PGR #GivingTuesday Campaign

This Giving Tuesday, we’ve asked members and visitors to help us achieve our goal to raise $10,000 (or more) in one day for the support of our mission. We’ve added a new function this year, that allows you to pick either a Tribute donation (dedicated to either honor a living person, or memorialize one who has passed), or simply donate to the PGR with no tribute.
