Biographical Info: I joined the Army right out of High School in 1967, after training went to Vietnam, Where I was assigned to HHSB 1/84th Artillery, 9th Infantry Division. I was down in the Mekong Delta near My Tho, and when the new Base camp was completed down there the 9th Infantry Headquarters was move from Bear Cat to the new Camp Dong Tam. I did 16 months in Nam, then spent the remainder of my time in the Army in Hawaii with HHSB 5/13 Artillery, 25th Infantry Division. After I got out of the Army I went to work for Southern Railway as a Brakeman, and shortly thereafter went to locomotive engineer training, and become a locomotive engineer running frieght trains bettween Danville, KY, and Chattanooga, TN. I am now retired, and love to get out and travel on my motorcycle. I feel very priveledged to be able to associate myself with the Patriot Guard, and Honor our fallen soldiers, and be a part in paying respect to Veterans at their funerals.
