Billy Joe Hamm, Veteran
US Army – Vietnam
Law Enforcement
Shreveport, Louisiana – March 31, 2025

About the Mission:

Mr. Hamm was born on July 2, 1941, in Banner, Virginia and passed away on March 10, 2025.
He proudly served in the United States Army for 2 years. He was a proud Caddo Parrish Sheriff Auxiliary for 10 years. Billy led us many times where we will be taking him Monday. Billy was a fellow Vietnam Veteran and was proud to lead us when I asked him for Veterans Day Rides and on Memorial Day to Veterans Cemetery. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, 2 sons and a daughter.

Flag line in place shortly after
After service, we will escort to Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA. Where we will stand flag line for service at Interment Shelter.
Anyone going directly to the cemetery – please be there by 1:15 pm

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

  1. Ecclesiastes 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;. Lord we pray for strength for the family as they go through the days ahead. Bind them together in love and comfort them only as you can. Help them to remember the fond and happy memories
    My wife and I wish to offer our deep heartfelt condolences.
    They did their part. Now we will do our very best to honor you.
